treasures bustin' out all over

* i live in a musical.  can't help it.  just the way i am.  and right now when i step outside i just wanna belt out "June is bustin' out all over!" which is a song from Carousel.  now, i know not all of you are musical theatre buffs -- and believe me, Carousel is certainly not one of my favorites by any means -- but it is a good song.

* i certainly want to sing it when i step outside and see this bustin' out from the ole garden.

* haven't planted my tomatoes yet.  waiting til closer to Easter.  however, i did find that cherry tomato plant at the farmer's coop the other day for almost the same price as a pint of cherry tomatoes!  with blooms already on it, you know it had to come home with me!

*  the Bird and i did discover some treasures yesterday while out junkin'. 

* we would've discovered a heck of a lot more IF a certain someone had been somewhat cooperative.  a little certain someone wanted to only be outside.  not inside junkin'.  go figure.

* i need a lot of globes, in various sizes, for my "project."  i'm either putting them on our entertainment center in the living room OR on top of my hutch in the dining room.  i'm indecisive like that.  (anybody have any they're willing to part with?)

* had lunch with a group of girls today from church.  so much fun!  love that the kids got to play.  also love it that my boys were missed.  cuteness.

* since i'm minus two kiddos today, this morning i had great plans of laundry, vacuuming, dusting, watering the garden, painting canvases i've had for months now....  instead i spent the morning snuggling in bed watching Dora, tickling while eating my oatmeal, and picking out shoes for our luncheon.  all that other junk can wait.

* i seriously think one of the prettiest sights is watching butter melt on hot oatmeal.  i'm just sayin'.

* i am seriously frustrated right now b/c for some reason -- and only certain times -- when i try to download photos off my camera it downloads EVERYTHING on my memory card, not just the new photos.  grr.  i'm waiting now for 897 photos to download.  it's only on 598 and the battery is about to go dead.  why oh why does it do this?

* if you're wondering why there are so many photos i haven't deleted yet it's b/c i keep my backup drive in a safety deposit box.  until i transfer it to that i keep important ones on my memory card.

* apparently 897 are important.

* doh doh is nite-nite.  which means i should be getting 14 gazillion things done.  unfortunately half of those involve nailing things into the wall, vacuuming and running my washing machine which is currently make one seriously horrendous noise.  since i'm desperate for this girl to take a nap, i think i better work on quiet projects.  like blogging.........

* i can now hear the bird jabbering away.  which means the nite-nite time i she so desperately needs isn't going as planned.

* alas, laundry is calling my name.  i gotta get with it, cuz the laundry fairy forgot to come and take care of this....

oops.  probably should've washed those MONDAY when the incident occurred.  no telling what they'll come home with from camping.  ahh, camping....they'll be home tomorrow.  maybe i should just wait until they get home.  right?  those dirt stains can wait another day.  right?  right?!?!?!
