Doh Doh, our precious baby girl, is 10 months old today!!! Can you believe it? It's been a FAST 10 months! Seems like she's always been part of our family. And yet it's only been less than a year.
So, Doh Doh, at 10 months:
* You are now crawling. And into everything. And your brothers are patient with you. But when you knocked down Bruiser's Lego house this morning, he was NOT happy.

* You are developing a little bit of an attitude. You do NOT like things to be taken from you. And when they are you like to grunt, and throw those chubby, little arms down. Daddy thinks you are getting sassy like your Momma. There's no better compliment.

* You are quite the Daddy's girl. If Momma puts you down for a nap, and you aren't particularly ready for napping, you like to call out "DaDa. DaDa." And snub.
* You still have no teeth. Zip. Zero.

* You have more hair than most grown men. And, again quite like your Momma, your curls have a mind of their own.
* You are bawling your eyes out right now b/c you probably have gotten into a position you can't get out of in your crib. Therefore my list-making must come to a temporary halt.
* You tend to get your way. If that weren't true you wouldn't be sitting at my feet playing with a calculator. (After one big heeping dose of Motrin. Dang those ears!)
* You learned to clap yesterday.
* Despite Bruiser's whining and complaining, you like it when Momma sings opera. Particularly "La Habanera" from Carmen. I'm quietly keeping my fingers crossed.

* You LOVE to play
* You absolutely LOVE your big brothers. (And believe me, they ADORE you. Of course you'll never date or even have a boy come within twenty feet of you, BUT they do love you.)

* You get more than your fair share of attention when I take you anywhere. It's why I like to take you everywhere. Even though I have to answer 900 times, "Yes, she was born with that much hair."
* You are a true blessing from the Lord. Our greatest prayer is for you to know the love of the Lord, trust in Him, and grow daily in your walk with Him. May we never take you for granted or any of our blessings from the Lord.

* Momma loves you. We ALL love you.

And, with the help of Motrin and ear numbing drops, you are finally quiet in your bed. Instead of focusing on yet another child with ear troubles, I'm shouting praises to the Lord for medicine.
