we've been on VaCatIoN!!!!
and it was wonderful. we weren't ready to come home!!!
well, 4 out of 5 of us weren't ready. my man was ready for structure. work. decent bedtimes.
the rest of us could've stayed. for at least another week. or more.
so let's catch up a bit. shall we?
* before vacation we all had a horrible stomach flu.
* we left for our trip a day late and with my man still sick.
* we went to Chicago, a ski resort in Michigan, and back to Chicago.
* i had so much fun with my family in Chicago I was in tears when we left. in fact, all kids were in tears. but sweet Bubba was sobbing.
* i love my family.
last week was full of laundry. and swimming. but mostly laundry.
today was to be the day i got back on track at the gym. but then my car died in the middle of our street. and it was shaking. finally i got it working and drove it straight to the automotive place. apparently i have an electrical issue. WEIRD.
{anyone with a Tahoe experienced this???}
so today we're stuck at home. no gym. no tennis. no swimming. no cashing in all the kids' coins for "dollars." oh well.
so i'm blogging. and trying to delete
and today is apparently also for yelling at my kids. the two youngest have been at each others' throats today!!!!
happy tuesday! i'm off to make lunch for some very hungry kiddos.
