delicious naptime

it's naptime.

{i consider naptime as one word.  do you?}

i'm having some much-deserved mint chocolate m&ms.
and some very much-needed caffeine.  in the bubbly form.

on monday i completely cleaned out our play/craft room.  rearranged furniture, cleaned out the closet, organized shelves, cleaned out toy bins....threw away, gave away, put away.

i helped the process along with some holiday cheer.

after singing & dancing along with bing & fred {twice}, i moved on to another favorite.

i can only read/watch Jane Austen twice a year:  in spring and winter.  once i do, it sprouts an addiction.  and i'm sooooo there.

i said i wasn't going to dive into another book until after christmas, but lo and behold i downloaded sense & sensibility and now i don't want to be bothered.  *grin*

i love to read Austen, but i've never read s&s before.  shocking, i know.  one of the most hilarious -- and most notable -- differences thus far between book and movie is that in Austen's mind, edward ferrars is "not handsome."

and yet producers and casting directors found hugh grant to be the perfect edward.  ahem.  or rather, hubba hubba.  i wonder if Austen would approve.  i know i sure do.

alas, i've had my calorie-limit (read: my entire daily caloric intake in the form of minty, candy-coated, decadence) as well as half-way finished my bubbly caffeinated concoction.  laundry beckons.

i should probably get out of jammies, too.

or stay in jammies and read s&s.  {sigh}

thank you to all who are still praying for Glory's family.  words cannot express my appreciation and love for you all.  the funeral is tomorrow.  i know it's going to be hard, but i also know it's a celebration.  i have almost no words, which is odd for me, but please continue to pray for this wonderful family.  i wish i could hug each and everyone of you!
