ok, so this one is a half check.  i'm not quite finished, but i'm posting the pics any-hoo.

by the way, i'm watching the french open -- djokovic vs. tsonga.  oh my!!  what a match!!!

we LOVE it!!!  we had really uncomfortable chairs out there before.  but now....all i want to do is sit out here!  and with the fan it is REALLY cool.

if you currently aren't suffering enjoying a muggy hot summer like we are here in the mosquito state Arkansas, then you might not fully appreciate the fan.

these were all taken the other night as we enjoyed the string lights on the ceiling and watched the lightening bugs.  good times.

after lightening bugs, we headed to the front yard to see the full moon.  {i first typed "fool moon."  hilarious.}  i couldn't quite get a good pic of the moon, but the cloud coverage was gorgeous!!!

not all the pics turned out that great the other night, so i just ran out to snap some more.  all while my boys fought.  in fact, while typing this, i just said, "if you yell my name one more time to tattle, i'm going to lose my temper!"

oh.  my.

wow.  that's a blurry picture.  i have absolutely got to take ashley's snap shop class!!!  grr.

i love ferns.  my mother does too.  which is why i think i spent forever denying my true fern love.  but i can't help it...i've finally given in to my fern obsession.  yes, very southern of me, I know.

i love succulents, too.  easy maintenance.  and these days, with my fighting children, i need looooooow maintenance.

and a lot of prayer.  {sigh}

moving on with the  Summer Cleaning Bucket List....   i'm not finished with the deck yet, but my dad has to help me with the next project.  then i'm moving to the playroom.  yippee!!
