valentine's day.

did you have a good one?  we certainly did.


although i confess, when we finally got home last night, i immediately ripped off my shoes & threw them in my closet swearing to never wear them again and hopped in the shower.  after getting in my comfy jammies, i settled in the living room.  and didn't move again until i tucked kids into bed.

i ran around all day.  all.  day.  fast.  {yesterday i was an ill-prepared homeroom mom}
i was exhausted.  {i still am.}
and since i opted for a cute dress and boots instead of my usual yoga pants and running shoes, my feet hurt.  {they still do}

so today.....


i'm listening to the hum of the dryer.  and the dishwasher.


i'm watching lucinda scala quinn.


i'm freaked out that doh doh just finished her 2nd hot dog and it's only 10:45.


i'm procrastinating balancing the checkbook and paying bills.


i'm overjoyed at our wonderful day yesterday. 

my man & i love giving cards.  love.  it.  it's our thang.  and they're always dirty.  again, it's our thang.  so i came home to one seriously hilarious card, 3 adorable cards from the kiddos, flowers, chocolate, licorice, and my favorite bottle of wine.  {i forgot to take a picture.  but it sure was sweet.}

i had lunch out with my fellas after dental appointments.

and dinner out with my sweet little family. (yes, we ate out twice. in one day.)


it was a great day.  


and now....i've procrastinated long enough.  i have a landscaper coming in 30 minutes to give us a bid.  maybe i should put on a bra.
