100!!!!!

kindergarten.  {ever notice that word is broken up into 4 syllables, of 3 letters each?!?!?  no?  just me?}

they do all kinds of fun, crafty, super snazzy stuff.

including celebrating the 100th day of school.  it was a big deal.  including homework assignments, show-and-tell, books, and loads of kooky fun stuff.

let's be honest.  we'd all like to go back to kindergarten.  right?  i loved kindergarten.  especially the awesome alphabet carpet we had.  it was lush, not cheap.  primary colors, but not obnoxious.  is it weird that i paid attention to that?  at 5?!?!?

bruiser's class had a whopping celebration on their 100th day.  he oh-so loved it.

fastest way to get to this kid??  candy.

he loved writing his own answers.

alone.

at least, what he could.  {so cute.}

he had to ponder his answers.

in 100 years i hope i can:  burp 100 times.
having 100 ____ would be a problem:  burps.
i wouldn't want 100:  farts.

and yes, i made him change the answers.  i spared his teacher.  cuz i'm a model parent.  and i didn't laugh at his attempts to burp or fart 100 times.  cuz that would've been immature.

he counted out 100 of those mint m&ms.  then he gave hints to his classmates for them to guess what was inside his bag.

* they're red, white, and green.
* you can eat them.
* you can only buy them at christmas.
* they start with the letter m.

we may or may not have come up with hints if he had farts or burps in his bag.  isoloveboys

i love seeing how enthusiastic he is about homework.  bruiser doesn't really enjoy school, so this enthusiasm won't last long, but it's super cute now.

my favorite answers......

I could never eat 100 fish.
Having 100 pink polka dots would be a problem.
I can lift 100 crumbs.

hilarious.

we did some fun 100-day stuff at home, too.  although it seems i snagged only one picture.

fun with food, yo.  for reals.

did you celebrate 100 days?  any kindergarten mommas out there?
