i don't know why.....

....this post is so hard for me to write.  it's silly, really.  {yes, that rhymes.}

this post has been on my mind for weeks.  it's just sat there.  i've written it over and over...in my mind.  but never sat down to actually post it.

b/c it's emotional for me.
and i'm an emotional kinda gal.

seeing it in print...online...well, i'm getting teary eyed just thinking of it.  but until i post it, i think i'll remain an unfaithful blogger.  i can post nothing else...b/c this is the post i keep thinking of, keep coming back to.

so here we go.  this post is all about....

BUZZ.

i just lost a few of you.

you either think i'm being ridiculous or quite perhaps the most insane person you've ever read. *wink*

i can't quite possibly explain how much my doh doh loves buzz.

it's her obsession.

and i love, love, love toy story & toy story 2.

but toy story 3????

it makes my momma heart melt.  break.  weep.

have you seen the movie?  do you know why i cry every single time i see the ending?  {that is no exaggeration.}  i have no idea how many times i've seen this movie.  and yet, every time, i lose it...at the ending AND when the toys call Andy on his cell phone.

when i was little, i always thought of my toys as REAL.  did you?  and to this day, when i find jessie, buzz, and woody lying around the house....yes, it's true....i wonder what they were doing before i walked in.

i'm ok with that.

watching Andy go off to college....i'll be there in just a few short blinks of my eye.  you think i need kleenex watching the movie?!?!?!?!  you just stick around until then.  it ain't a-gonna be purty.

my girl loves woody and jessie.  but BUZZ....well, he holds a special place in her 2 year old heart.  {and shhh, daddy's a wee bit jealous. *grin*}

at a recent trip to our beloved target...

we left the store plus one.

{although at walmart i did draw the line at the $40 buzz.  but i snapped a pic for daddy.}

i know everyone loves pixar.  i know everyone has stories to tell.  but my heart has a very tender spot for the pixar people.  Cars was our first obsession.  and it still is.  i'm ashamed to admit how many Cars cars we own....  and now toy story and nemo have been added to the list.

truly, there are no words from this momma's heart.

and it's pathetic that i'm teary eyed just typing this.

but this all just goes by so fast.  one minute they're pushing jessie in a pink stroller up the street to play football with the boys.  the next minute they're off to college.

if you haven't seen toy story 3, grab some tissue and watch it.  i'd loan you ours, but....

well, you'd have to go thru doh doh.  and i just don't see that happenin'.

  3. I can relate to the Toy Story "buzz" for sure! ;) Although my little man loves Woody to the moon and back. I'm pretty sure we have 15 Woodys in various forms around the house. And yes, I'll admit, I giggle a little on the inside every time he says, "Mom, come look at my Woody!" ;) Praying the love for Buzz will last a long time for your sweet girl - it's much more fun than purses and makeup!
