my girl carried that around & begged to see even more animal pictures. then she talked about it non-stop. {my girl is an animal lover!} all she had to do was ask daddy, bat her eyelashes a few times, and we were off to the zoom!
the gentry petting zoo {wild wilderness drive through safari} is awesome! we loved it. we spent a couple of hours just roaming around feeding the animals, petting, looking. then we spent over an hour driving through to see all the big animals. i highly recommend it if you live around here! well worth the price of admission.
those cubs...oh my. so sweet. you have to stand in line and then you don't get much time, but it's well worth it!!
shhhh, i don't think you're supposed to feed the kangaroos. but we did. {gasp.}
but i did NOT allow the kids to feed the animals during the drive. there are TONS of signs asking you to not feed them. i got frustrated at the rule-breakers! which admittedly, is usually me. i'm not a big rules follower. in fact, i tease that most rules are merely suggestions. but when the rules involve a 2-ton bison, i'm all over those rules.
just like her momma.
i had 2 horses growing up, but i doubt...no matter how much she bats those eyelashes... her daddy will buy her a horse.
but i never say never.
we had so much fun!!! honestly, i really think my favorite part was the drive-thru. you know why? we were all crammed in there looking, laughing, making memories. the boys got to drive the car, doh doh got to ooh and ahh over every animal -- and there are TONS -- and i got to sit there and listen to the giggles and the family jokes that will hopefully last a lifetime.
have i convinced you yet to go? if i haven't yet, Doh Doh surely will. she tells everybody about going to the zoom.

We love it too!! The monkey's were jumping all over our car last time... And I did keep the windows rolled down until they got too close!!
