{belated} easter, part 2

in my quest to jump back into blogging after a beautiful spring-induced hiatus, i'm sharing easter pictures.

ironically, i have ZERO pictures from easter sunday.  i guess since i took so many pictures the day before (and i cooked on easter) i decided to take the day off.  i'm sad about that now since my kiddos looked cute and all, but then they look cute every day.  {snort}


if you missed yesterday's post, we headed to a friend's cabin in the woods the day before easter. we had an awesome time.  

bruiser was slightly apprehensive about getting strapped into a harness for a swing.  but after his first time we couldn't keep him away.

love that smile.  bruiser is the ultimate momma's boy.  and i kinda like him too.

later on he flew superman style.  unfortunately, momma missed it.  

but that's just between you and me.  and my man.

oh, please.  you lie to your kids all the time, too.  don't judge.

i was in the kitchen.  and even though my man came in to tell me my sweet bruiser was about to give ole superman a run for his money (safely harnessed in, of course), i missed it.  {epic failure}  i came out in time to see him get unstrapped, yell my congratulations, and offer big sugars to my proud little fella.

he never needs to know.  do you understand me?

{when i ask that last question my children are required to answer "yes ma'am."  i'm going to assume you did the same.}

so where was doh doh during all this flying through the tree tops?

have i ever mentioned my doh doh is dog obsessed????

i'm sure one day she'll have to get her own.  for now, i don't need one more thing to take care of.

oh, charlie.  how we love you.  how patient you are.  if you ever need a home, i'll take ya.

but i can't promise you won't be dressed up as a baby.  or put in a stroller.  or forced to wear a cowboy hat.

would that be a deal breaker?
