not to be left out....{the girl}

it seems fitting to do a post about doh doh.  

because right now she is arguing with me about putting a wet painting on the kitchen table.  {if you know me at all, you know this is a battle i will win.} 

i also just had to call her back to the playroom for her to pick up all the stuffed animals she tossed about the room.  all in search of her beloved Buzz Lightyear.

i told her just this morning if she plans on bossing everyone around, it would be helpful if she'd let us all know her expectations BEFORE.  instead of scolding us all AFTER we haven't done what she wants.

last week doh doh started mother's day out.  

very unlike her brothers:
she matched.
she posed for pictures.
we were on time.
she strolled into class with no tears, no clinging to my leg, no shrieks in protest of my departure.

i hated it.

but she loves it.  {sigh}

she just does a couple half days a week.  enough for me to work out, run errands, put away groceries, and eat a meal while reading or talking grown-up talk.  so it's pretty good.  for both of us.

and lest you think all pictures of her were perfection....just a couple outtakes.  obviously there were more outtakes than anything else.  she is my kid after all.

seriously mom, aren't we finished yet?  i'm so over this.

i said enough was enough.  mom.  seriously.
