Yes, I too remember the days back when I used to blog.

{sigh}

My apologies.  If there are any of you dear readers still out there.....

So today.....

* my Bruiser is sick.  strep.  'tis the season, i suppose.  last night i found him lying in his own vomit (is that TMI??? sorry!) and HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW.  {oh. my.}

* Bubba just walked in dripping sweat all over.  it's football season, y'all.

* we've had a lazy day.  i took Bruiser to the doctor this morning.  then we came home and lounged around.  he played Minecraft and Clash of Clans.  Doh Doh & i read.

* right now i'm watching Frasier while working on this post.  oh my.  i love this show.

* since we were just sitting around i got online and looked for new boots for Doh Doh.  i found these.  on sale.  how cute are they???

* if you follow me on instagram, you've already seen this.  but this was a pic i took of us before school started.  i was trying to come to terms with bidding adieu to our summer.

* Bubba is now reading Henry Huggins.  he is way, way behind on his reading goal.  this has NEVER happened.  he just has a chapter left and he's finished.  and then he'll be back outside playing football.

* speaking of instagram, do you follow meg?  she posted this picture the other day and i've just got to do this!!!!  don't you love it???

* i found out the other day i will be hosting my man's Christmas party this year.  oh my.  it's all catered so i don't have to cook...i just have to have a clean house.  decorated.  for Christmas.  laugh all you want, but i've already started cleaning.  last week i cleaned all ceiling fans and light fixtures...which will have to be done again...but it feels good to get that done.  and i need to make a list of all the bazillion unfinished decorating projects that better get finished quick.

* happy first day of October.  i'm going to finally climb in my attic and get out my fall decor.  and yes, i meant to do it in september...but at least it's not november.  right?!?!
