just a little crafty

not only am i a terrible blogger these days, but i'm also a terrible crafter.

{sigh}

but last night i crafted.

{gasps from the audience}

and it was fun!!!  it wasn't much, but it was just enough to get me excited about crafting again.

my sweet, sweet daughter informed me she does NOT like the pompom fringe.  WHAT?!?!?!  pompom fringe SCREAMS Doh Doh.  

but alas, she didn't like it.  and as i look at that picture above...i'm not sure i like it on there either.  which means...i'll probably add more.

because you know i won't take it off!!!!  i mean, come on!  i already did subdued colors!  what more do you want from me?!?!

for the first time, i made these felt flowers.

LOVE them.  and so easy to make!!!!  i found a great tutorial {via pinterest} here.

i don't have a close-up picture of the other one i made, but i put a button in the middle.  so cute.  and that happened to be Doh Doh's favorite. 

so now i'm ready for my next project.  which i know is going to involve spray paint.  because i have 6 chairs i'm going to paint.  and recover the seats with new fabric.  i'm fired up about it...seriously.

and though this has nothing to do with crafting, here's what we had for dinner tonight.  oh my word.

i'd fight ya for the burnt pieces.  mmmmmmmm.
