happy friday, y'all!

it's friday.  hallelujah.

rare for a friday night, but my boys aren't spending the night with any of the grandparents.  so we're having family night!  tonight!!  homemade pizza, candy land, connect 4, go fish, and spongebob.  i love me some family nights.

but before that, i'm doing laundry.  copious amounts of laundry.  and scrambling to find another player for my combo tennis team.  anyone interested????????

but that wasn't the really good laugh i have for you.  b/c i believe in toooootally keepin' it real here on my blog, i'm gonna show you my laundry room.

the sink area of my laundry room has looked like this for....oh my gosh....a month.  oh my mercy.  how pathetic is that?!?!?!  a month ago i cleaned out all the cabinets of the laundry room.  

this is all the crap stuff i don't know what to do with.  plus a bunch of crap i was too lazy to put away and just threw it with all the other crap.  you see, i can organize....when i know what to do with it.  but how do i organize this crap stuff?!?!?!

somebody help me.

yes.  those are fireworks.  in my sink.  bottle rockets?  sparkly stick thingies???  i'm so firecracker challenged.  is it sad the firecrackers are also touching a box of matches?

ok, so maybe you didn't laugh at these pictures.  perhaps you are hanging your head in shame.  perhaps you are googling me so you can show up at my house and help me organize.  {i'm praying it's that last one.  seeeeriously.}

i'm off to find a cranky 3 year old who completed only half of her clean up task.  actually, for her, half is pretty good.  we'll consider it a personal triumph.
