i'm still in my funk. can't seem to get out of it. no time for blogging. or returning emails. {sorry to those i owe an email to.}
but i'm trying to get out of it. i'm trying to get back into some kind of routine. i'm still not ready for school to start. but having our routine back might help.
so moving on.....

this is the second year in a row (and our 3rd time) to go to the same beach, same condo. it's a smaller, very quiet place with a gorgeous private beach. we really love it there.
we've already decided, however, to do something different next year. the same vacation 2 years in a row is a little much for me. time to move on.
we're looking at beaver creek, co. we love colorado but haven't taken the kids yet. we're ready for some more adventure.
bubba is obsessed with visiting all 50 states. we're going to help him mark off a few more within the coming year.
bruiser is just along for the ride.
i was really experimenting with different settings on my camera. no, i haven't figured it out yet, but i used vacation as a practice run.
which basically means i took better pics with my phone. {ahem}

did i mention my parents went with us?? we had a blast. the kids love it when the grandparents go! last year my in-laws went...which means 2 vacations in a row my man & i have had a date night! woohoo!!!

does anybody else smell salt water? seriously. am i having a stroke? or do i just miss the beach?!?
