yes, it's fall

it's fall here in the great pig sooie state.  {if not from Arkansas, you have to follow SEC sports to get that}

i'm a spring/summer girl, through and through.  but fall really isn't so bad either.

we had a cold snap, but we bounced right back.  temps in the 80s, 70s, now today i'm freezing my hiney off.  welcome to arkansas.  {see the twinkle lights i finally hung up on my deck?!?  oh, love them.  so much.  ok, so i hung them a couple of months ago.  but i don't think i'd shared that with y'all yet.  bad blogger.}
  

i've been sweating thru all my cute fall clothes i recently purchased.  but this weekend i should be able to do all the layering i love to do in the fall.

which reminds me, i'm currently updating my phone.  and i found this picture i texted my husband.  from the TJ Maxx dressing room.

disregard the freshly washed post-workout hair!!!!!  and the fact i'm wearing ZERO makeup.  {don't judge.}

does anybody else do this?  text outfit pics from the dressing room?!?!  no?!?  just me???  i bought the jeans, which i thought might shrink some when washed.  i was wrong.  {sigh}  i'm terrible at picking out jeans.  i always buy too big!!!

anyhooooo, i do love to decorate my porch for fall.  LOVE IT.

i usually go way overboard on pumpkins.  but this year i only got a few.  basically b/c our favorite pumpkin patch closed down.  {sigh}  sad, yes.  but it did $ave me $ome moolah.  

ok, so this is weird.  anybody had this trouble???  we had our house painted over the summer.  and now 3M command strips won't stick to my front door.  weird, right?!?  they fall off!!  i'm perplexed by this.  seeeeeeeeeriously. 

so i had to use a strip of linen fabric attached to a command strip on the other side of my door.  bizarre.

so how do you hang stuff on your front door???  i need answers.  share with me.
